Paradox/PAL/ObjectPAL Resources
Paradox for DOS was one of the most productive development environments ever as was its successor,
Paradox for Windows which had one of the best report generators of any DBMS. For those still
working on legacy system in either of these DBMS's, below are some resources including some papers
we wrote for the Borland International Conference and the Paradox Informant.

Paradox Coding Group: We'd be surprised if there is anyone who knows more
about Paradox than Mike Prestwood. This is one of the last Paradox resources left and is a
testament to Mike's love of the Paradox products. This forum is one of many on

The ObjectPAL JackKnife:
The programming aid for anyone programming in ObjectPAL. The ObjectPAL JackKnife is a
collection of Paradox libraries and forms that assist in programming many basic, but time
consuming, functions that are called for in database applications. Some of the features
include: record highlighting, cascading deletes, automatic audit trails, built-in form
management, developer controlled autoincrement and a generic lookup form that binds to any
table that can dual as a search engine.
